Eilidh is Operations Manager for Developing the Young Workforce in Inverness & Central Highlands. Her role is to engage with employers and education to build partnerships to promote vocational pathways, inspire and inform young people to the wealth of career opportunities in the Highlands, helping to retain talent. Also. working with teachers, parents and employers to see the value and importance of apprenticeships. Before embarking on her Project Management Modern Apprenticeship Eilidh completed Management level 7.
Eilidh could see the relevance of a project management qualification to many sectors and she really wanted to understand the theory of effective project management. This recognised qualification will help her in her current role and her future career.
Eilidh found the course challenging but very worthwhile. She felt that the course was delivered very well with each section being related back to everyone’s job roles and the focus sessions with the group really helped with learning the content.

The qualification gave me the confidence to understand that the concepts of project management are all the same, following processes that is important to successful delivery. I know that I still have a lot to learn but the whole experience has given me an excellent grounding.”
Eilidh says that “It’s an excellent qualification which is definitely worth doing but you need to keep focused and study hard.”
