Hospitality Apprenticeship Greywalls Hotel & Chez Roux

A short drive from the historic delights of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, Greywalls sits on the edge of the dramatic Firth of Forth sea inlet and beside the world-renowned Muirfield golf course – and a short journey from several other championship courses.
Designed by the celebrated Edwardian architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, Greywalls is one of the most notable pieces of architecture in the country, replete with manicured gardens and a close-up view of Muirfield’s fairways.
An Apprenticeship is a great way to learn and gain a qualification whilst you earn. It’s the same qualification as going to college but you are earning a minimum wage whilst you do it.
Entering the world of work can be a time of both excitement and apprehension. ICMI Hotels aim to make this a positive and educational experience; working as a Modern Apprentice will provide the knowledge, skills and confidence to set you on the right track for a fulfilling and rewarding career within the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector.
The apprenticeship is designed to be completed over a 12-18 month period. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, acquire knowledge and to practice “hands on” in either Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping or in the Kitchen.
You will follow the standards as set out on the SQA framework and will have an assessor supporting you to make sure that you understand all the key aspects of your role. In addition, we will provide you with experiences, training and support to enhance your learning and development.
You will be employed on a permanent basis and for the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be paid from £4.15 per hour. Ideally Modern Apprenticeships are available for 16 – 24 year olds.
